Individual Family Reunions Held on 2nd Day

On the second day of the 12th inter-Korean family reunions, some 440 South Koreans met 100 of their long-lost relatives in North Korea Sunday at the North's Mount Geumgang Hotel.

The individual reunions followed group meetings which took place the day before.

North Koreans gave liquor and health products as gifts while South Korean families brought rings, jackets and underwear from Seoul.

The South Korean delegation will return home Monday while another 140-member group travels to the North on Tuesday for more reunions.

Korea was divided at the end of the Korean War in the 1950s. The two Koreas have now held eleven reunions since the historic inter-Korean summit in 2000.
