A second group of South Koreans separated from family in the North will return home after briefly reuniting with their long-lost kin for the first time in five decades.

Around one-hundred-40 South Koreans will hold their final reunion with some two-hundred-50 North Korean relatives at the North's Mt. Geumgang resort before bidding farewell and heading back home on Thursday afternoon.

Earlier on Monday, the first group of four-hundred-40 South Koreans returned home after three-days of brief reunions with around one-hundred family members from the North.

The reunions are the 12th to be held since August 2000 in accordance with a joint South-North declaration signed that year.
