A recent U.N. report shows that South Korea remains the world’s top user of high-speed Internet services.

According to the report issued by the U.N. Conference on Trade and Development Thursday, 24-point-five out of one-hundred Koreans had access to high-speed internet use in 2004, up more than four percent compared to 2003. South Korea has retained the top spot since 2000.

South Korea was followed by Hong Kong, the Netherlands and Denmark.

The report showed, however, that the U.S. topped the list in terms of total subscribers to high-speed Internet services, while South Korea dropped by one notch to fourth with 11-point-7 million.
