U.S. special envoy on North Korea's human rights Jay Lefkowitz will visit the country as part of his Asia tour with a concrete plan to improve the situation in the North.

In an interview with Yonhap News Agency in Washington Wednesday, Lefkowitz said he will first report his plan to U.S. President George W. Bush after the president returns from his Asia tour, and then leave within a couple of weeks.

He is expected to attend on December 8th in Seoul a three-day international forum on the North's human rights in addition to visits to China and Japan.

The former Bush aide was appointed to his post in August under the North Korea Human Rights Act enacted last year by the U.S. Congress.
