Gov't to Push for More Tours to N. Korea

Unification Minister Chung Dong-young says the government will from next year push for more tourism projects in North Korea.

He said Friday that South Korea will seek to begin tours to Mount Baekdu, Gaesong and Pyongyang.

Chung will soon leave for the North to attend a Saturday ceremony marking the seventh anniversary of the tour to Mount Geumgang.

He said the government's basic policy towards the North is to seek change through frequent and massive civic exchanges.
