Seoul City Hall announced Tuesday the final number of seats at Sangamdong World Cup Stadium in western Seoul would be set at 64,677.
The stadium is one of the venues for the 2002 Korea/Japan World Cup finals.
The city official said that the Sangamdong World Cup Stadium will be Asia's largest football stadium and will have 977 more seats than Japan's largest soccer stadium.
