Gov’t to Facilitate Cross-Border Letter Exchange

Vice Unification Minister Lee Bong-jo says his ministry will seek to facilitate inter-Korean letter exchanges upon the completion of a permanent reunion center at Mount Geumgang.

Lee visited South Korea's Red Cross headquarters Thursday to view the process of the ongoing second round of video reunions of separated Korean families.

He said the ministry would continue negotiations through inter-Korean Red Cross talks in order to help families in the two Koreas keep in touch with each other after online or offline reunions.
