The Washington Post has reported on stem cell pioneer Hwang Woo-suk's admission of the ethical missteps he made in obtaining eggs for his research.

The U.S. daily said the professor knew the donated eggs were from two of his researchers but also cited his groundbreaking accomplishments, including his success in embryonic stem cell research and the world's first cloned dog "Snuppy."
