Also on Korea and Japan... Police chiefs of the two countries have signed an agreement on bilateral cooperation to insure security during the World Cup.

The agreement was signed in Tokyo Thursday between visiting Korean National Police Agency Commissioner General Lee Moo-young and his Japanese counterpart Setsuo Tanaka. The pact particularly calls for cooperation in the event of riots by hooligans.

The two police leaders also discussed general security issues not related to the World Cup, such as international and organized crime.
