3rd Inter-Korean Video Reunions Held

Separated family members from the two Koreas are holding the third round of video reunions with their long-lost kin via video link.

Around 580 people from the two Koreas, or 40 families from each side, will hold the third round of inter-Korean video reunions through Friday.

Thirteen studios in nine major cities in South Korea are holding the reunions with video conferencing equipment linked to ten studios in the North.

Four reunions will be held a day with each family given two hours to see and talk to their relatives via video.

The two Koreas in July linked fiber optic cables connecting Munsan, Gyeonggi Province, with the North Korean border city of Gaesong for the video reunions.
