Incheon International Airport will be promoted to a hub airport of Northeast Asia

The Construction and Transportation Ministry has said that it will expand the number of flights and airlines at Incheon International Airport even further to make it the hub of transportation in Northeast Asia.

The ministry said that South Korea and Vietnam had agreed to increase the flights of Vietnamese airlines to Incheon. The ministry plans to have talks with Japan, Hong Kong, India, and Canada to increase the number of flights to Incheon from those countries.
