Unification Minister Chung Dong-young will visit North Korea’s border city of Gaesong on Friday.

Accompanied by a 60-member delegation, Chung is scheduled to visit the Gaesong Industrial Complex to inspect the operations of the industrial park and encourage South Korean firms doing business there.

Chung will also visit an inter-Korean economic cooperation office that was opened at the end of October following a tour around the border city.

Friday’s trip will be Chung’s second to the border city since last December.
