Third Video Reunion Enters 2nd Day

Separated family members from the two Koreas are holding video reunions with their long-lost kin across the border for the second day Friday.

Forty families from the two Koreas are participating in the third video reunions, which wrap up on Friday.

Thirteen studios in nine major cities in South Korea are holding the reunions with video conferencing equipment linked to ten studios in the North.

Four reunions will be held a day with each family given two hours to see and talk to their relatives via video.

The two Koreas in July linked fiber optic cables connecting Munsan, Gyeonggi Province, with the North Korean border city of Gaesong for the video reunions.
