L.A. Dodgers pitcher Park Chan-ho started and won the opening game of the season Monday, the first time in his six-year career in the U.S. Major League.

The Dodgers opened the season with a 1-0 victory over the Milwaukee Brewers at Dodger's Stadium.

The 27-year-old major leaguer struck out seven in seven innings and none of the five hits he gave up during the game led to a run. Park's streak of scoreless innings now stands at 32.

Gary Sheffield made Park a winning pitcher when he hit Jamey Wright's second pitch to him about 134 meters into center field during the sixth inning.
