Koreas Agree to Peacefully Resolve Nukes

The 17th inter-Korean ministerial talks ended Friday with the two Koreas reaffirming their commitment to the implementation of the joint statement reached in the six-party nuclear talks.

On South Korea's tourist island of Jeju, the two sides also agreed to hold military talks early next year and cooperate for a peaceful resolution to the North's nuclear issue for the security and co-prosperity of the Korean Peninsula.

They agreed to hold video reunions of separated families in February and the 13th live reunion at the North's Mount Geumgang at the end of March.

Pyongyang will host next year's inter-Korean ministerial talks from March 28th to 31st.
