S. Korean tourists to plant trees around Mt. Kumgang Thursday

Hyundai Merchant Marine said Wednesday some 260 officers and staff of KCC Information and Communication Co. who are scheduled to depart for a tour of Mt. Kumgang Thursday plan to plant trees in Onjong-kak, a resting place at the mouth of the scenic mountain in North Korea.

The KCC, a system integration company, has decided to have all of its officers and staff join the tour being made in commemoration of the 30th anniversary of the company's founding.

Thursday also is the National Arbor Day in the South.
