Korean Firms Rake in Contacts at Japanese Computer Game Show

The Korea Entertainment System Industry Association said Wednesday, Korean computer game makers garnered export contracts worth U.S. $58.9 million during the Tokyo Game Show Spring 2001.

Animedia Entertainment signed a $10 million deal with the Japanese firm Titus to export "Venture Tycoon" game software.

Fitsnet received orders worth $6 million and agreed to develop computer games with Sesa and Konami, Japanese game producers.

Ten Korean firms displayed their games at the computer show which ran from March 30 to April 1.
