A survey finds South Korea is the world's leader in high-speed broadband internet access.

According to the survey by NetValue, more than half the households with Web access in South Korea have high-speed broadband access. About two-thirds of Korean households with high-speed connections use the DSL or digital subscriber line while most of the rest use cable modems.

The most broadband-wired nation in Europe is France, but market penetration there is only a fraction of eight percent in Hong Kong, seven percent in Singapore, and six percent in Taiwan.
