Daewoo Construction said it will be able to collect 230 million dollars in unpaid construction cost from Libya.

A company spokesman said Lybian leader Muammar Qadaffi promised the payment at a meeting with a Daewoo executive last month.

Daewoo says the payments could begin as early as next month.

The payment is for part of the unpaid projects Daewoo has been involved in since the late 1970s.
