Defense Minister Yoon Kwang-ung says he hopes the next inter-Korean talks between generals will convene in North Korea.

Ahead of the proposed meeting's Friday prep talks at the truce village of Panmunjom, Yoon said Wednesday that in the 2000 talks between inter-Korean defense ministers, both sides agreed to hold the next meeting in the North.

He also denied a report saying an American stealth fighter last year flew over Pyongyang, saying a U.S. plane would never violate the North's airspace without prior consultation with Seoul.
