Korea Information Communication Co. said Tuesday it has secured a concession to sell tickets for the 2002 Pusan Asian Games.

The 2002 Pusan Asian Games Organizing Committee selected not only Korea Information but Global Cultural Information Service, Corp. and Korea Computer Inc.

Korea Information is drawing up marketing strategies to boost ticket sales. It will also upgrade the Pusan transportation smart cards used for both bus and subways for use as payment for taxi services as well.

Pusan will be the first host of an international event to provide a one-stop online system, covering ticketing, accommodation reservations and traffic information, a spokesman for Korea Information said.
