Candidate Lists Submitted for Online Reunions

Red Cross officials of the two Koreas have exchanged lists of 40 candidates each for the fourth video reunion of separated families.

At the truce village of Panmunjom Tuesday, the Seoul-based Korea National Red Cross said the candidate selection process favored the elderly and immediate family for the two-day reunions slated for February 27th and 28th.

The 99-year-old woman Kim Byeong-do is the eldest among the South Korean candidates, of whom 33 are in their 90s and seven in their 80s.

For the North, 85-year-old Rim Bong-hon is the eldest and the remaining candidates are in their 70s.
