Koreas to Hold Red Cross Talks Tuesday

The two Koreas from Tuesday will hold three days of Red Cross talks at the North's Mount Geumgang.

The two sides will discuss humanitarian issues such as confirming the whereabouts of South Korean abductees and prisoners of war in the North.

They will also talk on inter-Korean exchanges between separated families by increasing the number of video reunions.

The talks will be the first between the two Koreas since Lee Jong-seok took over as South Korea's unification minister.

Korean National Red Cross Secretary General Jang Seok-joon will represent Seoul, while the North's Red Cross vice chairman Choi Song-ik will do so for Pyongyang.
