South Korea's Pak Se-ri fired one-under par 71 Monday morning (Korean time) in the final round of the LPGA Longs Drugs Challenge in the United States, snatching her second win this season and 10th LPGA championship.

This win places Pak solidly at the top of the LPGA since her debut four years ago.

Pak won the championship at Twelve Bridges Golf Club in Lincoln, California.

She got off to a good start this January by winning the YourLife Vitamins championship in Florida, the opening match of the LPGA's 2001 tour.

Pak finished the Longs Drugs Challenge at eight-under par 208 to defeat American Laura Diaz by two strokes, shortened to 54 holes after a thunderstorm wiped out play Friday (local time).

Diaz rallied from five strokes down and led by one before Pak birdied the 16th hole. Diaz bogeyed the 18th and Pak birdied the 17th shortly thereafter for a two-shot swing that decided the 800,000 dollar event.
