The Korea Customs Service in Seoul will simplify vehicle transit procedures between the two Koreas to bolster inter-Korean exchanges.

A customs official on Monday said one-stop vehicle registration and approval steps are planned with the Unification Ministry and all reports on arrivals and departures can be handled via the Internet.

In addition, the service will omit the approval-seal procedure for vehicles with radio frequency ID cards when they enter the Mount Dora area.
