Japanese lawmaker to set up Lee SH memorial hospital in Seoul

A representative from the Japanese Diet's lower house will set up a hospital in Seoul to immortalize the heroic death of a South Korean student who died trying to save a man who fell onto Tokyo subway tracks during rush hour in January.

Lee Sung-dae, father of the student Lee Soo-hyon, said, Japanese Representative Torao Tokuni promised to build the Lee Soo-hyon Memorial Hospital in Seoul this year by acquiring an existing hospital."

The father said that Torao also agreed to construct another memorial hospital in Pusan, Lee's hometown, by 2004.
