No Progress in Inter-Korean Military Talks

South and North Korea have failed to agree on measures to prevent military clashes in the Yellow Sea.

On the last day of the third round of inter-Korean talks of generals Friday, the two sides also could not decide on the schedule for the next military meeting.

Seoul proposed that they first discuss measures to prevent naval clashes in the Yellow Sea and set a common fishing zone.

The talks, however, were stifled by Pyongyang's demand for "fundamental measures" to redraw the maritime border in the sea.
