Koreas Exchange Data on Separated Relatives

The Red Cross organizations of the two Koreas have provided information on the whereabouts of the candidates for this month's reunion of separated families.

In a meeting Monday, the South's side confirmed the fates of 166 relatives of 200 North Korean reunion candidates and the North's side those of 146 relatives of 200 South Korean candidates.

The reunion will open on March 20th at the Mount Geumgang resort area on the North's east coast.

The South will select 100 people for the reunion, giving priority to immediate family members and senior citizens.

The two Koreas will decide on a final list Thursday.
