South Korea has captured the 2001 LG Cup soccer tournament.
At the final match held in Cairo Thursday, second half substitute Ahn Hyo-yeon scored a tie breaker to give South Korea a two to one victory over Egypt.
The victory is the first international tournament won by the South Korean national team under Dutch coach Guus Hiddink.
