U.N. Human rights commission meeting ended

The 57th U.N. Human Rights Commission ended its 6-week session in Geneva Friday.

Japan's clearance of its past wrongdoings involving the fabrications of its history textbooks were high on the agenda during the session.

Strong objections from South and North Korea and China were lodged over the Japanese move to distort its past history.

A total of 82 resolutions including war crime bills connected to comfort women and other sexual violence were passed during the session.
