A North Korean economic delegation is reportedly in China to visit major industrial sites.

According to diplomatic sources in Beijing, the 30-member delegation, led by Jang Song-thaek, a brother-in-law of North Korea leader Kim Jong-il, arrived in Beijing Saturday aboard an Air Koyro flight.

The sources said the group will tour economic zones in Shenzen, Guangzhou and other southern Chinese cities that Kim Jong-il visited during his trip to China in January.

A detailed itinerary for the delegation was not immediately available.

Kim's trip to China triggered speculation that the communist North is seeking to implement economic reform measures modeled after those of China.
