Reunions for a second group of South Korean family members and their North Korean kin are being carried out as scheduled despite the recent standoff between North Korean officials and South Korean journalists.

The group of some four-hundred family members from the South held individual reunion with their long-lost North Korean relatives Friday at the North's scenic Mount Geumgang resort. Later in the day, the families will enjoy an outing to the Samilpo resort area before bidding farewell on Saturday.

Meanwhile, the group of South Korean reporters that had accompanied the family members returned to Seoul on Friday.

The reporters cut short their schedule following the North’s imposing of restrictions on their coverage.
