The second phase of the 13th inter-Korean reunions of separated families is proceeding as scheduled despite the expulsion of South Korean journalists from the North.

The Unification Ministry said Friday that some 430 people from the South met with their long-lost kin on the North's Mount Geumgang Thursday afternoon and Friday morning and visited Lake Samilpo.

The South Korean group will return home Saturday.

The team of expelled journalists arrived in Seoul Friday afternoon.
