A survey finds pro computer game players are the most popular occupation for South Korean elementary school boys.

According to a survey of about 1,100 5th and 6th graders, 197 out of 561 boys said that they want to become professional computer game players in the future.

Professional athletes came next, followed by computer experts, scientists, inventors, TV stars, lawyers or judges, animal breeders and cartoonists. Politicians were among the least popular professions.

The survey was recently conducted by the government-funded Korea Research Institute for Vocational Education Training on students in 16 primary schools across the nation.
