A group of venture companies have joined hands in launching a campaign to collect money on the internet to help African children.

The campaign was launched simultaneously at eleven hotels across the nation. Guests can click onto the cyberspace on the computer in their hotel room to donate money.

Locals can donate one thousand won and foreigners one U.S. dollar each time they click on a special icon marked out in the website set up by the campaign organizers.

Organizers say the donations will be used to help build schools in Africa.
