Koreas to Hold Ministerial Talks from April 21

Inter-Korean ministerial talks will open on April 21st in Pyongyang for four days.

A Unification Ministry official said Friday that Seoul has accepted Pyongyang's proposal made Thursday to hold the meeting.

The North had unilaterally postponed the talks last month to protest joint military exercises by South Korea and the United States.

The two Koreas will coordinate the timetable and agenda of the talks next week at the truce village of Panmunjom.

Unification Minister Lee Jong-seok will lead South Korea in the talks for the first time since his appointment early this year opposite North Korean senior councilor Kwon Ho-ung.

The two sides last held ministerial talks in December last year.
