N. Korea Urges More Investment in Biz Park

The Unification Ministry in Seoul says North Korea hopes more South Korean companies will invest in the Gaesong Industrial Complex.

In an investor relations session in the North Korean city Thursday, an inter-Korean office for economic cooperation hosted 41 staff from 36 South Korean companies and 14 from a North Korean apparel maker.

The session was the complex's first targeting South Korean companies in a specific industry.

The North said terms of trade in consignment processing have improved and urged more South Korean companies to do business in the complex.
