NK Tops List of 10 Most Censored Nations

North Korea tops the list of the world's ten most censored countries.

The New York-based Committee to Protect Journalists on Tuesday released the list to mark World Press Freedom Day.

Myanmar was second on the list, followed by Turkmenistan, Equatorial Guinea, Libya, Eritrea, Cuba, Uzbekistan, Syria and Belarus.

The committee said North Korean media only report stories favorable to surpreme leader Kim Jong-il while ignoring the North's serious food crisis in the 1990s.
