A ruling party lawmaker said Saturday Socialist International (SI) has indefinitely delayed its plan to send a delegation to Seoul on May 15 for unknown reasons.

Rep. Lee Nak-yon said he has not yet been informed exactly what caused them to postpone the May 15th thru 17th visit.

He said SI had planned to come to both Koreas but their failure to arrange a visit to the North may have prompted them to delay the whole plan.

Socialist International is a group of socialist political parties from around the world.
