Former Unification Minister Jung Se-hyun will lead the South Korean delegation to talks on former President Kim Dae-jung's planned visit to Pyongyang next month.
A unification ministry official on Tuesday said the decision was made after consultations with Kim. The list of the four-member Seoul delegation, including unification ministry officials, will be sent to the North later in the day.
The two Koreas will hold working-level talks next week at the North's Mount Geumgang and discuss the itinerary, size of entourage and the route Kim will take for his trip to Pyongyang.
Kim will likely hold talks with North Korean leader Kim Jong-il during his stay in Pyongyang.
Kim Dae-jung previously went to Pyongyang in 2000 for the first-ever inter-Korean summit.
