Inter-Korean Railway Talks to Open Thursday

The two Koreas will hold talks Thursday and Friday in North Korea to discuss trial operation and the opening ceremony for inter-Korean railways.

A Unification Ministry official in Seoul said Wednesday that the two sides will hold their 12th working-level talks on the railways at the cross-border economic cooperation office in the North Korean border city of Gaesong.

The two sides will mainly discuss scheduling and details on the two matters.

In the last round of talks in February, the two Koreas failed to agree on the schedule after Pyongyang asked for more construction materials to build roadbeds in the railway stations.
