Inter-Korean Talks Proposed for Weekend

The government will propose to North Korea working-level talks this weekend on military security for test runs of inter-Korean railway lines slated for next week.

A government source said Friday that the two sides could hold talks on an agreement on military security after failing to do so at the fourth round of military talks that ended Thursday.

Seoul has submitted its proposal on the matter to Pyongyang, and both Koreas could also exchange documents and sign the deal via fax due to time restraints.
