Koreas Hold Working-Level Railway Talks

South and North Korean delegates met Monday to discuss opening ceremonies and trial operation of the Gyeongui and Donghae inter-Korean railways.

During the working-level talks in the North Korean border city of Gaesong, the two sides exchanged a lists of delegates for the opening ceremonies at Munsan and Mount Geumgang Stations.

Delegates also discussed issues concerning procedures, media coverage and communication ahead of the test runs slated for Thursday.

However, a South Korean Unification Ministry official said Seoul and Pyongyang have not yet held meetings on military issues concerning the cross-border railways.
