N.K. Kidnap Victim to Meet Family on June 28

A South Korean who was kidnapped by North Korea in 1978 will meet his biological family on June 28th at the North's resort of Mount Geumgang.

The Korea National Red Cross in Seoul said Friday that Kim Yong-nam will have a three-day reunion with his mother and sister, but whether his daughter will also attend is unclear.

Inter-Korean Red Cross officials also agreed at the truce village of Panmunjom to exchange the list of 200 separated families from each side who will reunite at the resort from June 19th.

Two groups of 100 South Korean families will see their relatives in North Korean for three days on June 22nd and June 28th.

Two North Korean groups of the same number will also have reunions for three days on June 19th and June 25th.
