The two Koreas will hold a joint event marking the sixth anniversary of the first inter-Korean summit.

Some 150 members of the North Korean delegation headed by National Reconciliation Council President Kim Yong-dae arrived in Gwangju Wednesday.

More than 400 people are expected to attend the four-day event, including 150 each from the two Koreas and about a hundred foreigners.

Former South Korean President Kim Dae-jung will deliver a speech at the opening ceremony Wednesday evening at Gwangju World Cup Stadium in front of 30,000 in attendance.

The event will also feature live performances and sports events.
