Measures Mulled for N.K. Missile Test

The government is mulling measures in the event that North Korea test fires a missile.

Amid reports that the test is imminent, an official on Thursday said the government is devising measures, including those if the test-fire proceeds.

Meanwhile, Unification Minister Lee Jong-seok told reporters in Gwangju that the potential test is worrisome but that Seoul's stance on private inter-Korean economic projects remains unchanged.

In Gwangju to attend a joint celebration of the 2000 inter-Korean summit, he declined to discuss specific measures.

Another official said a North Korean missile test will affect inter-Korean relations, but denied a retreat in bilateral relations.
