Three days of inter-Korean festivities marking the sixth anniversary of the 2000 inter-Korean summit will come to an official close Friday.

A closing ceremony will follow a round of sports games in the morning.

South and North Korean delegates will then tour Mount Yudal in Mokpo, South Jeolla Province and attend a celebratory performance and farewell dinner.

The North Korean delegation on Saturday will pay tribute at a memorial tower commemorating the 1929 uprising of Gwangju students against Japanese colonial rule before returning to Pyongyang.

The festival was held in South Korea's southwestern city of Gwangju.
