Koreas to Start Talks on Ex-Pres.' Visit

The two Koreas have started working level talks on former South Korean President Kim Dae-jung's planned visit to Pyongyang.

Seoul officials on Friday said they are contacting Pyongyang on concrete details of his visit, which will start on June 27th.

A North Korean delegation on Wednesday arrived in the South Korean city of Gwangju for a celebration of the sixth anniversary of the historic inter-Korean summit in 2000.

Kim and North Korean counterpart Kim Jong-il held a summit in Pyongyang in the highest level meeting between the two sides since the Korea Peninsula's division in 1953.
