The government is closely monitoring North Korea’s missile launch, with the assumption that Pyongyang might have injected fuel in the missile as the final step of test-firing preparations.

Reports that Pyongyang has ordered North Korean citizens to hoist national flags and watch a national address on Sunday will also be investigated.

Seoul is trying via inter-Korean channels to dissuade Pyongyang from proceeding with the test-firing stating that the launch will violate past agreements with Washington and Japan.
