‘NK Close to Missile Test’

U.S. officials say North Korea appears to have completed fueling an intercontinental ballistic missile, a move that suggests a test launch is imminent.

The officials, who requested anonymity, were quoted by Reuters as saying the North’s move greatly increases the probability that Pyongyang will go ahead with its missile test.

They added that the chances of the North canceling the test launch were narrowing because siphoning the liquid fuel out of a missile is a complex task.

Meanwhile, the Associated Press also reported Monday that the North appeared on the verge of firing a long-range missile capable of reaching the United States.
